The Desire range of smartphone are almost synonymous with low midrange smartphones and downwards except of course the HTC Desire Eye. The company has another upcoming smartphone with the name – HTC A50C (not the final name) which is a new addition to the HTC Desires family.
The phablet sized HTC A50C sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD resolution display, powered by an octa-core MT6753T processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. The rear camera is a 13MP snapper and the front camera is a 5MP camera; both cameras are Samsung made (Samsung S5K3L2XX and Samsung S5K5E2YA respectively).
The HTC A50C is expected to come with Dual SIM slots and run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with HTC Desire Sense 7.0 ontop. Since most Dual SIM devices are targeted at the Asian market, this upcoming Desire smartphone would also toe the same path. It is confirmed to launch in China on some of the country’s telecoms.
