The Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4502 has been quietly listed on the company’s official website; the device is the successor to the Android One smartphone with the same name (but different model number) which was announced last year.
The Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4502 succeeds the Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4501 and comes with slight upgrade in specs; the device now has 8GB space of internal storage compared to 4GB on the former and now runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
Moving to the specs, the Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4502 sports a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA display, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
The main camera is a 5MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the device includes – micro USB, GPS/AGPS, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB OTG. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, supports Dual SIM functionality and is backed by a 1700mAh battery which provides around 160 hours of standby time.
The Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4502 is available on eBay India for a price tag of INR 6039.
