At the Computex 2015, SanDisk took the wraps off the world’s smallest 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive – the SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive.

Due to consumer demand, the SanDisk Ultra Fit USB has been expanded from the initial 64GB space to times two of that size to meet the ever insatiable needs of the consumer. It now has a capacity of 128GB and according to the press release, it is able to store around 16 hours of Full HD video.

It provides a speed of 130MB/s which would allow users move content almost ten times faster than the standard USB 2.0 drives, like transferring a full length video in less than 40 seconds. The size is compared to a Dime, it measures 19.05mm in length, 16.00mm in width and 8.89mm in height ( without the cap on of course).

“Featuring a low-profile, plug-and-stay design, this tiny flash drive delivers impressive capacity combined with high transfer speeds for media enthusiasts who want to expand storage of their notebook, tablet, TV, in-car audio system, gaming console and more”.

The company also unveiled its highest USB Flash Drive ever – the SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 Flash Drive which is available in 256GB capacity. It is targeted at users which demand more digital storage for their files and media in a small portable device. It has a transfer speed of 100MB/s and it can also move large files ten times faster than the normal USB 2.0 flash drive.

Both the SanDisk USB 3.0 drives comes with a five-year warranty, comes with a year free subscription to RescuePro software to recover lost files or corrupted files and also SanDisk SecureAccess to secure files without password encryption.

The 128GB SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive is priced at $120, and the 256GB SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 is priced at $200; both can be bought at online and brick & mortal retail outlets around the world.
