Cube i7 Stylus with Intel Core-M processor and Wacom Stylus

Chinese tablet maker, Cube has announced a new Windows tablet – the Cube i7 Stylus which would be powered by an Intel Core-M processor, would have a Wacom Stylus and comes with a docking station.

The Wacom Stylus on the Cube i7 Stylus is expected to perform a whole wide range of features on the Wacon-made Digitizer layer screen which the normal capacitive touchscreen won’t offer. Asides writing and drawing on the screen, it detects 1024 level of pressure, offers what is called a ‘Palm Rejection’ feature when you rest your hands on the display when the pen is being used. The Stylus pen doesn’t use a battery nor does it need to be charged before it is used. 

Moving to the specs, the Cube i7 Stylus sports a 10.6-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) Full HD IPS IGZO display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, powered by an Intel Broadwell Core-M 5Y10c processor with Intel HD Graphics 5300 paired with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB SSD storage space. On the rear there is a 5MP camera and a 2MP camera is on the front.

Connectivity options on the tablet includes – USB Host, HDMI, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Micro USB 3.0 port and a microSd card slot. It measures 273.77 x 172.03 x 10.5mm in dimensions, weighs 690 grams, runs on Windows 8.1 OS and is backed by a 9000mAh Li-Po battery. 

The Cube i7 Stylus would go on sale starting June 18 in China via JD.com and is expected to go on sale for a CNY 1999 price tag. The docking station and stylus pen are sold separately.
