Acer this week has announced two new tablets – the 3G enabled Acer Iconia One 7 and the Wi-Fi only Acer Iconia Tab 7 at a recent event in New York. Both tablets are expected to go on sale starting from the middle of May in European, Middle East and Africa markets (EMEA) and the end of June in Pan-Americans markets.

Acer Iconia One 7 is a budget tablet that runs on Intel Atom processor
The Iconia One 7 is an endorseable cheap budget tablet from Acer. The Acer Iconia One 7 features a 7-inch 1280×800 LED IPS display, powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor, 8GBor 16GB inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 32GB with Micro SD, with a battery capacity of 3700mAh expected to last around 7 hours.
WiFi connectivity, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front facing camera are some of the remaining specs of the Iconia One 7 tablet and it would also be available in Blue, Pink, Black, Red and White colours. The Device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean but it is upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat however there are no release date from the company on the new upgrade.
The Iconia One 7 would be available in Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) markets including Nigeria around Mid May at a price of EUR 139 (around N31,000 in Naira) and Pan-American markets by the end of June for around $129.99 (around N21,000 in Naira).

The Acer Iconia Tab 7 would available in two variants – the Iconia Tab 7 A1-713 and the Iconia Tab 7 A1-713HD. The Acer Iconia Tab 7 A1-713 features 7-inch 1024×600 LCD display, 2MP rear camera and would run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The Iconia Tab 7 A1-713HD features 7-inch IPS screen 1280 × 800, 5MP rear camera, anti-fingerprint coating, and would run on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
Other specs of the Acer Iconia Tab 7 tablet (A1-713 & A1-713HD) includes 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 3G connectivity, voice calling support and around 6 hours of battery life.
The Iconia Tab 7 would be available in Europe, Middle East and African markets by mid-May for around EUR 149 (around N33,000 to N34,000 in Naira) and would be available in Latin American markets MXP 1,990 (around 25,000 in Naira).
