Acer has this week announced a new 7-inch voice calling tablet dubbed the ACER Iconia Talk S. The tablet supports Dual SIM functionality, supports LTE connectivity and has similar qualities with the Samsung Galaxy Mega and ASUS FonePad.
The Acer Iconia Talk S features a 7-inch 720 x 1280 pixels IPS display, powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB). On the rear is a 5MP camera without LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera. The tablet runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, has standard connectivity suites (LTE inclusive) and a 3780mAh battery.
The Acer Iconia Talk S would be available in the nearest future in Taiwan for a $250 price tag. Availability details in other markets has not been announced by the company but it is expected to debut other regions as expected.
