Unveiled at the MWC 2016, the Acer Liquid Jade 2 is the latest member of the Liquid Jade family by Acer. The Jade 2 is being positioned as the embodiment of of superior multimedia experience with a brilliant AMOLED display and high-res audio with Virtual surround sound.
The Acer Liquid Jade 2 has a sleek and slim body profile, curved back cover with hairline brushed iron-grey back cover and a red silhouette highlight that joins the cover to the screen. The display is a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Under the hood, it relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor along with Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage space and also supports up to 1TB of hybrid storage. For enhanced music and immersive surround sound experience, high-resolution audio and DTS Headphones technology are employed for these outputs.
Connectivity options available includes – 4G LTE (LTE Cat. 6), Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB Type-C. The Liquid Jade 2 sports a rear facing 21MP camera with Dual LED flash, Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF) and supports 4K video recording. The front selfie camera is a 8MP snapper with 84-degree wide angle lens.
