Acer has announce its first ever Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone at the Pre-MWC event today. The smartphone in question is the Acer Liquid M220 – which comes with entry level specs and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and uses a Dual-core processor.
Moving to the specs, the Acer Liquid M220 features a 4-inch WVGA display (233ppi), powered by a dual-core processor which clocks at 1.2GHz with 512MB of RAM, 4GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
A 5MP main camera with 89-degree wide angle lens, LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera is on-board to handle photography and of course selfies. It comes pre-loaded with Microsoft apps such as OneDrive, Skype, Cortana and office.
Connectivity options on the device would be the standard options – WiFi and Bluetooth. The device come with Dual SIM functionality and is backed by a 1300mAh battery. Even though, the Liquid M220 is running Windows Phone 8.1out-of-the-box, it would be upgradeable to Windows 10 once the final version begins rolling out.
