To reward the outstanding performance of the Taiwan team at the recently concluded 2017 Taiwan Universiade Games (2017 Taipei World University Games) in Taipei, Acer handed out 380 special edition models of the Acer Liquid Z6 Max to Taiwanese players who participated in the games in front of the Su Liqiong, Taipei City Government Secretary-General and Li Weibin, Taipei City Government Information Bureau.
The Acer Liquid Z6 Max is a yet-to-be-announced variant of the Liquid Z6 series which curretly has the Liquid Z6 and Liquid Z6 Plus smartphones. The model handed out to the participants has the Games’ official logo along with the Universiade cartoon bear on the rear.
The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display and a long lasting 4670mAh battery. It has a gold metal body with excellent grip and relies on a 64-bit octa-core Mediatek processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD).
The Acer Liquid Z6 Max features Dual SIM slots (4G + 3G), rear 13MP camera with PDAF and front facing 16MP camera with 1/3 inch sensor and large f/2.0 aperture. The camera also has 7 unique camera features including a creative personal self-timer. It measures 153.8 x 76.3 x 9.2 mm and is priced at TWD 9,900 (USD 330).
