Along with the Liquid Jade 2, Acer announced two devices in a new Acer Liquid Zest series – the Acer Liquid Zest and Acer Liquid Zest 4G. Both devices share basic details, features and specs however the key differences noted is in the aspect of processor and LTE support.
The Acer Liquid Zest is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, No LTE support and DTS Sound Studio for quality listening experience while the Acer Liquid Zest 4G is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz, LTE support and DTS HD Premium sound.
Both devices run Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Zero Air Gap technology, On-Cell technology and the Acer BluelightShield app for controlling the amount and effects of blue light exposure as well as improving viewing comfort.
For photography, both use a rear facing 8-megapixels AutoFocus camera with f/2.0 lens, Exposure control and LED flash; and a front facing 5-megapixels camera 85-degree wide angle lens for selfies. Pre-installed on them is the Acer Game Zone for the ultimate gaming experience.
The Acer Liquid Zest will arrive in EMEA regions (Europe, Middle East & Africa) for a price tag of EUR 109 while the Acer Liquid Zest 4G will arrive later, in May for a price tag of EUR 149. They are available in Midnight Black and Daylight White colour options.
