Affordable Lenovo K3 Note midrange phablet released for $145

Lenovo announced a new smartphone earlier today in its home country – China; taking the tally to almost SIX devices including those announced at the MWC 2015. The device in question is the Lenovo K3 Note; which is a more upgraded version of the Lenovo K3 Lemon and is expected to go square-on with the Meizu M1 Note. The device body has an all yellow (lemon) colour and a bump which a purely a design on the rear which also has the company’s logo on it.

The Lenovo K3 Note sports a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor which clocks at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot on-board which supports up to 32GB more space.

Moving on to the camera features – on the back there is a 13MP camera with Dual-tone LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera which the Selfie lovers would like to take advantage of. The device measures 7.6mm in thickness, weighs 150 grams and supports Dual SIM functionality with Dual Standby ( the first SIM supports 2G/3G/4G and the other supports GSM only).

A 3000mAh battery is on-board to provide the needed juice to last more than a day depending on usage. The Lenovo K3 Note is available in two versions – the regular version and the Teana version which has an added Ceramic peice Vibration Speaker. The regular version costs CNY 899 (around ~$145) and the Teana version costs CNY 999 (around ~$160).
