Over the past few years, there has been an influx of Dual Boot phablets and tablet devices in the market. One of such devices, the Akyumen Holophone, a Dual Boot Phablet from a relatively unknown manufacturer has gone on pre-order and will be available starting from September 1st.
The Akyumen Holophone Dual Boot Phablet run either Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS or the full PC version of Windows 10 OS, not the mobile version or that which supports continuum. It packs a massive 7-inch display which naturally qualifies as a tablet but the maker considers it as a phablet due to its voice calling and cellular connectivity features.
Another interesting feature is the inclusion of an integrated Pico projector. It can project a display up to 100 inches across the diagonal at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and has a 35-lumen brightness rating.
The rest of the device specs includes – a quad-core Intel Cherry-Trail z5-8300 processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB built-in storage, 13MP main camera, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE, microSD card slot and 2910mAh battery.
The Akyumen Holophone is available in two bundles – the basic bundle costs $750 while the other bundle costs $950 bundle and includes multiple accessories such as a Bluetooth speaker, a battery stand, as well as a game controller.
