A new smartphone bearing the code name – Alcatel 6060 has surfaced on benchmark website – GFXBench. The TCL-backed company is expected to release the device as the Alcatel Idol 5, sequel to the Idol 4 (also launched as the Blackberry DTEK50).
According to the listing, the Alcatel 6060 (Idol 5) sports a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in expandable storage, out of which 22GB space is available to the user and boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS (Android Alcatel Edition).
The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0GHz with Adreno 506 GPU. The front selfie camera is 8MP snapper while the main camera is a rear facing 12MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash, Touch Focus and 4K video recording support.
The Alcatel 6060 also comes with support for GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi as well as Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope, Light Sensor, Proximity sensor and Pedometer sensors.
