Alcatel (TCL) announced new ‘A’ series affordable premium smartphones at the IFA 2017. The Alcatel A7 XL and Alcatel A7 both have phablet-size displays (6-inch and 5.5-inch respectively) with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution and a long lasting 4,000mAh battery with fast charging (9V/1.67A).
Sporting a premium pure metal design, the A7 XL comes equipped with dual rear cameras (12MP AF + 2MP FF) and Google’s AI powered virtual assistant – Google Assistant. The A7 features spin-effect textured cover design and boasts a rear 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and ultrafast PDAF.

The Alcatel A7 (Black) will be available in Europe, Latam, Middle East and Africa, APAC in Q3 2017 for a price tag starting at EUR 229. The Alcatel A7 XL (Metal Black and Metal Gold Finish) will be available in these regions by Q4 2017 for a price tag starting at EUR 279.
