The phablet sized device is available immediately in the US (nationwide) from participating MetroPCS stores for a price of US$ 69 with eligible phone activation or upgrade (actually US$ 129 SRP with US$ 60 instant rebate). It will also be available at T-Mobile starting this fall.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS put-of-the-box, the Alcatel Fierce 4 sports a Gray Rays finish with silver trim accent and 5.5-inch (1280 x 720) HD IPS Display with . It is backed by a fairly moderate 2500mAh battery and the back is slightly curved for comfortable handling.
For photography, there is an 8MP rear facing camera with autofocus, LED flash, and HDR along with a 5MP front camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens for group selfies.
The device is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space and boasts 4G LTE data speeds (B2/4/12). For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.
