Alcatel took to the MWC 2016 to announce a couple of new mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) and dropped the OneTouch moniker once-and-for-all. However, the company seems to have more device in store as the Alcatel Flash Plus 2 has been spotted on GFXBench.
According to the benchmark listing, the Alcatel Flash Plus 2 Specs starts off with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and the display size has shrunk from 5.5-inch on the predecessor to 4.6-inch but the screen resolution has taken a step up from HD (1280 x 720 pixels) to Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels).
Under the hood, the Flash Plus 2 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6755BM (Helio P10) processor clocked at 1.8GHz with ARM Mali-T860 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space out of which 10GB is available to the user. A microSD card slot is expected to be on hand to expand storage.
In the camera segment, there is a front facing 8-megapixel camera and a rear facing 13-megapixel AutoFocus camera with LED Flash. The Alcatel Flash Plus 2 is expected to support 4G LTE networks as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. There is no word on pricing, availability and battery capacity.
