Last month, specs details of the upcoming Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL surfaced thanks to celebrated tipster – @evleaks. The phablet sized device will have a lower-midrange specs and is expected to go official around December.
The same source (@eveleaks) has teased a new press image of the device running either Windows and Android OS. The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL will now reportedly come in two versions – one version running Windows 10 and the other running Android OS (Lollipop more likely than Marshmallow.
Going back to the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL specs, it is expected to sport a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked 1.1GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage.
Handling photography is a 8 megapixels AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 5 megapixels camera for selfies and video chats; for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The device supports 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE support, measures 9.45mm thick and is backed by a 2500mAh battery with up to 14 hours of talk time and 820 hours of standby time. The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL is expected to be available in December in the US and would be carried by T-Mobile.
