Over the past few days there has been some arguments over the Samsung Galaxy F and the Galaxy S5 Prime, with some sections pointing out they are the same device while other differ on the opinion. Popular Leakster, @evleaks has posted a leaked photo of the Samsung Galaxy F (S5 Prime) with a September date announced as possible launch date.
Apple is expected to announce two devices in September with the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 while Samsung is expected to follow suit with the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy F (S5 Prime). The South Korean company is looking to outshine the upcoming iPhone 6 variants with its Quad HD display for the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy F.
The Samsung Galaxy F (S5 Prime) is a and expected to feature a 5.3-inch display compared to the 5.1-Inch on the flagship Galaxy S5. The phone is expected to to use Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display with a pixel density of 554ppi.
The Galaxy F (S5 Prime) is tipped to be amongst the first smartphones to feature the 2.5GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset (or could be the first device to sport Samsung’s Exynos 5433 processor), coupled with 3GB of RAM, Adreno 402/405 GPU.
The device is expected to keep the 16MP rear camera with OIS and a 2MP front facing camera; the finger print sensor, dust resistance and water proof, heart rate monitor.
On the software side, with the Android L expected to be dropped after September, it won’t be expected to debut on the Galaxy F but Android 4.4.3 or 4.4.4 Kitkat OS would be expected as well as Samsung’s TouchWiz’s UI on top.
The Galaxy F (S5 prime) is expected to debut alongside the Galaxy Note 4 at the IFA Trade Show, Berlin in September.
