Since Motorola announced the Second Generation of the Moto G and Moto X, there have been silent claims that the successor to the Moto E is also in the works. Apparently, the Second generation Moto E (Moto E 2nd-gen) is said to debut in the market soon.
Reports coming out of Greece seems to confirm this, the Second generation Moto E (Moto E 2nd-gen) is expected to come with some upgraded specs to its predecessor.
The Moto E 2nd-gen is expected to feature a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) display, powered by a quad-core qualcomm snapdragon 400 or snapdragon 401 processor with 1GB of RAM, LTE connectivity and 5MP rear camera without LED flash.
The Moto E 2nd-gen would run Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and like its predecessor ‘affordability’ is the selling point. We expect the original and the second generation Moto E to look alike in terms of physical features.
For now it is still all leaks and rumours until it gets officially announced.
