Ahead of the IFA 2014, Sony teased a promo shot of its upcoming tablet alongside its android-wear powered smartwatch. It seems the Sony Xperia Z3 would have to share the spot light with the Xperia Z3 tablet Compact.

The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is expected to feature a 8-inch 1920 x 1080 pixels IPS display with Sony’s TRILUMINOUS screen with X-Reality picture processing engine and also covered by a reflection glass. The tablet is expected to be powered by a Quad-core Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. There would be 16GB of internal storage; though there is no word on microSD card slot but going by Sony’s standard we expect to see one on this device. On the rear is a 8MP Exmor RS sensor with LED flash and there are standard connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-FI 802.11ac and 4G LTE.
The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is expected to run on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and has a battery capacity of about 4000 – 5000mAh. And also expects high end devices from sony to be Water Proof and Dust resistant as well as other top notch features.
