Romanian-based OEM, Allview has officially announced the Allview E4 and Allview E4 Lite. Both devices are actually the same device but differs in terms of the processor, internal storage and memory available on them.
Talking about the differences, the Allview E4 is powered by an octa-core 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage while the Allview E4 Lite is powered by a quad-core 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage.
The rest of the specs are pretty much the same, the Allview E4 (and E4 Lite) sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS LCD Fully Laminated display with On-Cell technology, Aluminosilicate glass protection for scratchs and the metal frame around the sides went through CNC processing.
On the back is a 13MP AutoFocus camera with Samsung S5K3L2 sensor, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a front facing 5MP camera with LED flash for selfies, video calls; the camera has functions such as HDR, Smile Shot, Gesture Shot & Face Detection. The device is Dual SIM enabled and has 4G Dual Mode (FDD and TDD); supports smart gestures to quickly access applications and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
Connectivity options on the Allview E4 and E4 Lite includes – Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS and 4G LTE connectivity. There is a feature called ‘Smart Light’ for reading a 2100mAh battery is in charge of keeping the lights on.
The Allview E4 is priced at RON 1049 ($266 or €237) while the Allview E4 Lite costs RON 799 ($203 or €181); both device will be available starting October 19th in Deep Black and Pearl White colours.
