Last month, Romanian smartphone and tablet brand, Allview unveiled its first ever smart speaker – the Allview V-bass. Unlike a classic Bluetooth speaker, V-bass does not only play audio, it also listen to voice commands in English and intuitively answer user’s questions and needs.
Priced at EUR 55 (US$ 60), the Allview V-bass plays audio from the connected device and can be used hands-free (via Bluetooth) at home, in the office or in the car. Two or more speakers can be used at the same time, in different rooms, all connected to the same wireless network, using the Siebo Multiroom Android app. Also, these speakers can be connected to work in stereo system, on two channels.
V-bass is compatible with Amazon Alexa via Wi-Fi, which assists with telling jokes, general knowledge questions, setting alarm, controlling music or audio books through voice commands, creating shopping or to do lists and more.
Alexa also keeps user up-to-date with schedule with daily tasks or to-do list, and latest traffic information. With 3W power and up to 4 hours autonomy of 4 hours (1,200mAh Li Pol 3.7V battery), the Allview V-bass has a microUSB port for charging.
