Allview has announced its first ever Dual camera smartphone – the Allview X4 Soul, which has been listed on the company’s online store for a price tag of RON 1699 (EUR 379). The main 13MP AutoFocus camera with f/2.0 aperture is paired with a secondary 5MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, to gather info about the field of depth and create bokeh effect in photos.
The front selfie camera is a 13MP snapper with f/2.2 aperture & LED flash while the camera’s Image PRO software promises up to 14 camera modes. It sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS LCD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass and the fingerprint sensor is embedded into the home button.
The Allview X4 Soul relies on an octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 processor clocked at 2.0GHz paired with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in expandable storage space. It boots Android Marshmallow and comes with the split-screen, a function which naturally comes with Android Nougat.
Other software features include: Private Space – a fingerprint or password protected section for keeping sensitive data; Anti-Call recording function – to prevent other apps from recording and eavesdropping on calls; and Camera Guard function to guard agisnt other apps accessing the camera app.
The Data Clone app aids quick transition of data from the other device to the X4 Soul. Measuring 154.2 x 76.4 x 7.4 mm and weighing 167.5 grams; it has Hybrid Dual SIM slots, supports 4G LTE Cat.6 networks and equipped with the USB Type-C port. It depends on a 3000mAh Li-pol battery that promises up to 428 hours of standby time and roughly 15 hours of talktime.
Also, it has the reverse charging feature, allowing the device act as a power bank for charging other mobile devices.
