Romania-based Allview has unveiled the Allview X4 Soul Vision, a new mid-range smartphone with built-in MEMS laser projector for business, educational or leisure purposes. It is equipped with a 720p HD laser projector (w/o projection lamp) and applies smart image auto correction to get rectangular projections at all time.
Projections is built up by almost 30 million pixels per second and depending on the distance between the smartphone and projection area, the projected image size vary between 20 and 200 inches without affecting output quality. It has a high 5000:1 contrast ratio and delivers up to 3.5 hours of projection.
Housed in a 10mm-thick full metal body, the smartphone has a dedicated interface to access all the features of the projector. The black-screen control function turns the phone into a touch pad for going through presentations and either documents or slides can be edited when a Bluetooth keyboard is added.
The Allview X4 Soul Vision sports a 5.5-inch InCell IPS display with full lamination, 1920 x 1080 pixels FHD screen resolution and scratch resistant glass. It comes pre-loaded with Allview’s AVI voice assistant, boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS and relies on octa-core Mediatek MT6750T processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage.
The rest of the specs include: rear 13MP AF camera with PDAF and LED Flash, front 8MP camera, rear fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE connectivity, Dual SIM slots and 4,000mAh battery. The X4 Soul Vision by Allview is available on pre-order at RON 2,299 (EUR 500 or USD 588).
