The past few weeks has been mixed for Apple; with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus crossing over 10 million pre-orders in just 24 hours after announcement (good news) and recent news that the iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 plus bends when subjected to pressure. It has seem to be a case of Big phones and pocket not seeing eye to eye.
Expanciating on reports, users found out that their iPhone 6 (iphone 6 Plus inclusive) gets bent after some hours. This has sparked so many memes and a #Bendgate hashtag has gone viral on twitter concerning the so called BendGate with most of Apple’s competitors and rivals taking turn to take digs at the company.
Luxury phone and phone accessory brand, Gresso is taking advantage of the situation by offering cases for the iPhone 6. Gresso is offering Titanium, Aluminium and Gold cases for the iPhone to prevent bending issues.
The Aluminium option is the cheapest of the three as it is available for a starting price of $90 and are made from CNC-machined Aluminium. This options let’s the phone withstand up to 300 pounds of pressure even when in users’ back pocket. The aluminium cases would be available in Black, Gold and Silver.
The Titanium cases let’s the iPhone withstand hundreds of pounds of pressure. The Titanium cases doesn’t come cheap as it costs $2000 but if you want more premium option you can get a Gold cases (White Gold or 18 Carat Gold) which costs about $1000 ($3000 exactly) more.
The new cases would be available for pre-orders starting October 1st.
