Google, now an Alphabet Inc subsidiary, has released the official Android 6.0 Marshmallow quick start guide. It is no longer news that the Android Marshmallow is the latest version of Android yet and it is currently running on the recently announced Nexus phones – Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.
The official Android 6.0 Marshmallow quick start guide from Google is made available to give users detailed information on features and others about the OS. The around or over paged ebook is available for free on the Google Play Books for download.
The guide touches on all the new Android 6.0 features such as Google Now on Tap, new apps permission system, SD card support, Android Pay, Doze power-saving & App Standby and Google Now on Tap.
The guide also goes further to highlight other basic functions usable on all Android versions regardless of the phone and how to use them, such as setting up multiple user accounts, customising the home-screen, using Android Wear and Auto, using the keyboard, and turning off the flashlight.
Companies like Sony, HTC and Motorola have all announced the list of various devices which will get the Android Marshmallow update with more companies expected to follow suit in the nearest future.
