Android OS running Gresso Regal Gold luxury phone launched

Luxury smartphone and accessories maker, Gresso has announced a new luxury Android OS powered smartphone. The Gresso Regal Gold as it is called uses a high strength titanium case with Gold PVD coating and inserts from Yellow Gold. 

It costs $6000 (plus free Shipping to anywhere in the world)  and comes in a high quality leather made gift box which includes certificate of authenticity. It is available in Limited edition and only 999 unit would be made for sale.

The Gresso Regal Gold has a gold bar like design, measures just 8.8mm in thickness (for a luxury smartphone) and . The case is made from grade 5 Solid Titanium plate, which is used in high end sport cars and in the aerospace industry. It is scratch resistant and this is said to be achieved using PVD coating. 

The machining and milling of the device takes around 8 hours and another 3 hours is spent on polishing the back panel and front manually. There is a 18K Gold (or White Gold) Gresso logo on the front and the back is also adorned with 18K Gold (or White Gold) where the individual’s unique numer would be engraved. 

Like most Luxury phones or luxury smartphones, whichever you decide to call it, it is more about the bling (the material build) than the specs. The Gresso Regal Gold features 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

The device makes do with 2GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. On the rear there is a 13MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the device includes the standard ones including 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi but no support for 4G.

The Gresso Regal Gold measures 143.2 x 70.2 x 8.8 mm, Weighs 205 grams, runs on a version of Android which is not stated (probably a dated version) and is backed by a bttery which provides 300 hours of standby time, 6 hours of talktime.
