Firstview is the leading ARM powered laptop maker around having sold over 6 million ARM powered devices since 2009. The company has announced a new convertible notebook runs on Android 4.4 OS, 11.6-inch display and a Rockchip RK3188 quad-core processor.
The Firstview S1162 is a 2-in-1 device i.e it can be converted to a Notebook or a tablet, all that is needed to fold the laptop 360 degrees backwards to covert the device into a tablet. The Device features a 11.6-inch (1366 x 768 pixel) capactive touchscreen display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB built in storage, 2MP front facing camera for video chat and memory card slot.

Other features includes – 3 USB ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a mini HDMI port, Audio Jack, supports USB Hard drive, USB printer, external 3G/4G USB dongle.
The FirstView S1162 can be compared to the Lenovo Yoga Tablet due to its similarities and Runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. The device comes preloaded with Aldiko (e-reader software), Skype, OfficeSuite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and full Google play support.
The Firstview S1162 has a windows logo below the screen though it runs on Google’s Android OS. (Pretty Odd right?). The chinese based company is looking for distributors but its is expected to have a price tag of $199 (₦33,000).
