Becoming a norm, AnTuTu annualy announce the list of Global Top 10 best performing smartphones in a calender year. The benchmark website has released the 2015 Global Top 10 Best Performance Smartphones – the Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus takes home the crown.
The Huawei Mate 8 takes the second place with thee Kirin 950 SoC which is the company’s current flagship. The Meizu PRO 5 come third with Samsung’s Exynos 7420 processor onboard, suprisingly the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ come fourth and fifth respectively despite using the same SoC.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus occupy the sixth spot while the OnePlus 2, LeTV One Pro, Xiaomi Note Pro and the Nexus 6P, all powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor occupy the rest of the list (from seventh to tenth).

2015 marked the birth of some exciting smartphones and not so exciting ones. Companies like Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Meizu, OnePlus, Xiaomi and LeTV are present on the list because their offerings were exciting.
HTC and LG need to come back stronger in 2016 while Qualcomm will be hoping the Snapdragon 820 propel smartphones using the SoC into the top five positions.
