Alongside the three new iPhone 11 models, new 10.2-inch iPad and Watch Series 5, Apple revealed more information (availability and pricing) about the upcoming subscription-based Apple Arcade gaming and Apple TV+ (Apple TV Plus) video streaming services. Both have a Family Sharing feature which allows members of a family (up to 6 people) share one Apple TV+ subscription.
Apple Arcade
The Apple Arcade gaming subscription service has a monthly US$ 4.99 fee and will arrive on the Apple Store starting September 20 with iOS, October 1 with iPadOS and tvOS 13, and sometime in October with macOS Catalina. Some of the games will support remote and controllers such as MFi game controllers, PlayStation DualShock 4, Xbox Wireless Controllers with Bluetooth and Siri Remote.
Apple TV+ (Apple TV Plus)
Available for US$ 4.99 monthly, the Apple TV+ is expected to arrive in over 100 countries and regions starting November 1 on the Apple TV app available on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac, Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD and Apple TV (3rd-gen). The video subscription service will offer original shows, movies and documentaries including “Dickinson”, “For All Mankind”, “Morning Wars”, “See” and “The Elephant Queen.”
