macOS Big Sur 11.3

The latest macOS update delivers optimisations for iOS/iPadOS apps on M1-powered Macs, hibernation support for Mac computers powered by the M1 chip, and updates to Safari including start page customisations and options for developers to integrate speech recognition into web pages. It also has the general support for AirTags and Find My app, new emojis, updated Apple Podcasts interface and support for the Sony PS5 and Xbox Series X|S gaming controllers.

watchOS 7.4

The latest Apple Watch software update delivers the capability to unlock the iPhone with the Apple Watch without the passcode or Face ID. This feature requires part of the face to be visible, and the watch must be on the wrist, near the iPhone, unlocked and protected with a passcode. Others new features include AirPlay 2 support for Apple Fitness+ users to stream content on enabled devices and users in Australia and Vietnam get the ECG and irregular heart rhythm notifications.

tvOS 14.5

The highlight of the latest tVOS software update focuses on the colour balance feature on the new Apple TV 4K. The feature, which is also available to existing Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K models, uses advanced sensors on the iPhone to calibrate video output inline with the standard used by cinematographers around the world. It also brings support for the latest gaming controllers to play games from Apple Arcade and tvOS app store.
