Yesterday, Apple released the latest version of its mobile OS – iOS 8.4.1 which is a minor update to fix different Apple Music issues and bring some improvements too.
Apple Music came along with iOS 8.4 update at the end of June; the company’s music streaming service is a basically a combination of on-demand music streaming, global radio station and a social network for artists to ‘Connect’.
Most of the fixes as earlier said are for Apple Music and the release which has a size between 55MB and 58MB resolves issues such as: issue that prevents iCloud Music Library from turning on, one that hides added music when Apple Music is set to show offline only and one that has to do with showing different album artwork on different devices.
Others includes – the fix resolves issues artists have when posting to connect and the last one has to do with Beats 1 when tapping the Love button doesn’t work as expected.
Overall, iOS 8.4.1 is likely the last iOS 8.4 update before iOS 9, as the new mobile OS as well as new iPhone (and possibly iPads) are likely to debut in September. The update as usual is downloadable over-the-air and can be found in the Software Update option of Settings.
Apple also pushed out iTunes 12.2.2 update which unsurprisingly also comes with some Apple Music fix and improvements. The update can be downloaded through update section of the Mac App Store.
