Archos has announced a new smartphone and tablet under the ‘Sense’ series – the Archos Sense 47X and Archos Sense 101X. Both new Archos Sense models are priced at EUR 130 and EUR 200 respectively, and are aimed at lovers of outdoors activities, outdoor workers, serious riders, sports and professionals.
The Archos Sense 47X sports a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and is IP68-certified (water and dust resistance). It can also withstand drops of more than one metre. It is powered by a quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage. The rest of the specs include: microSD card slot, front 5MP selfie camera, rear 13MP camera, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and lasting 3,000mAh.
As expected, the Archos Sense 101X is designed to withstand hostile environmental for the sake of usage in every day life or adventures. It comes in a rugged robust envelope and sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with the HD screen res, 2GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, front 2MP camera, rear 5MP camera, GPS, 4G LTE support and a 6,000mAh battery.
