ASUS has added four tablets to its ZenPad series of devices – the tablets are the ASUS ZenPad 7, ZenPad 8, ZenPad S 8.0 and ZenPad 10. All four tablets models runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Zen UI ontop; all offer models Wi-Fi only, LTE/3G connectivity and phone functionality; and they all come in an array of colour options.
ASUS laid emphasis on the ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 (Z580C/CA) at the event; it sports a 8-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) 2K IPS display, powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. There is an option of 16GB or 32GB space of nternal storage option.
The rest of the Zenfone includes – USB Type C connector, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, measures 6.6mm thin, weighs around 299 grams, powered by a 15.2Wh battery and comes with a ZenCase which boost the battery. There is the Z Stylus with up to 1.2mm writing tips, 1024 levels of pressure sentivity, which is expected to do the stylus related functions on the slate.
The other tablet models are the ASUS ZenPad 7 (Z370C/CG/CL) which visibly has a 7-inch display and the 8-inch display sized ZenPad 8.0 (Z380C/KL). The last of the four devices is ASUS ZenPad 10.1 (Z300C/CG/CL) which has a 10.1-inch display and comes with an optional detachable keyboard.
