Computex 2017: ASUS announces new Windows 10 Powered ZenBook and VivoBook Laptops

At the Computex 2017 in Taipei, ASUS has taken the wraps off a new line-up of light and thin ZenBook and VivoBook laptops powered by Windows 10. As expected, the laptops come with some of the OS’ best features such as Windows Hello, Windows Defender, Windows Ink, Modern Standby and  Cortana.

ASUS ZenBook Flip S (UX370)

Praised as the world’s thinnest convertible, the ASUS ZenBook Flip S (UX370) has a 10.9 mm thick metal body and weighs 1.1 kilograms. It features a 13.3-inch 4K display, ASUS’ new ErgoLift 360-degree hinge (sustains 20,000 cycles), fingerprint reader and a 39Wh battery capacity, lasts up to 11.5 hours.

The ZenBook Flip S is based on Intel’s 7th-gen Core i7-7500U processor with up to 3.5GHz frequency. It also has up to 1TB PCIe SSD and 16GB of RAM. It also promises an immersive audio experience co-developed with Harman Kardon. It is expected to arrive in the Summer starting at US$ 1,099.

ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe (UX490)

ASUS also unveiled the ZenBook 3 Deluxe (UX490), a 14-inch laptop which offers the right balance between portability and productivity. It sports a 12.9 mm thick metal body with gold elements, 14-inch NanoEdge ultra-narrow-bezel display and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection.

The ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe is outfitted with the 7th-gen Intel Core i7-7500U, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB PCIe SSD, 2 x USB Type-C (USB-C) with Thunderbolt 3-enabled, and fingerprint sensor for easy one-touch with Windows Hello. It starts from US$ 1,199 and will be available by summer 2017.

ASUS ZenBook Pro (UX550)

The business-focused ASUS ZenBook Pro is the lightest (1.8kg) and thinnest (18.9mm) ZenBook Pro ever. It has a 15.6-inch 4K UHD NanoEdge display, fingerprint sensor for one-touch login via Windows Hello, quad-speaker Harman Kardon surround-sound audio and a long lasting 75 Wh battery.

It reportedly has a battery life of 14 hours and comes ‎equipped with the most recent 7th-Gen‎ Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad -core processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050 Ti graphics, up to 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 1TB PCIe x4 SSD. It will also be available this Summer for a price tag of US$1,299.

ASUS VivoBook S15 (S510)

Designed for those constantly on-the-go, the ASUS VivoBook S15 has a 15.6-inch NanoEdge display with 7.8 mm slim bezel and relies on the latest 7th-Gen Intel Core i7-7500U processor with up to 16GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics. It measures 17.9 mm thick and weighs 1.5 kilograms.

The VivoBook S15 is up for summer availability and starts at US$ 499.

ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 (N580)

Yet another slim and lightweight Windows 10-powered ASUS laptop, the VivoBook Pro 15 is powered by a 7th-gen Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core processor with up to 16GB RAM, gaming-grade NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics and hybrid storage (up to 2TB HDD and 512GB SSD).

It sports a 15.6-inch 4K UHD display with wide-view tech, anti-glaring coating and a wide 100-percent sRGB color gamut. The VivoBook Pro 15 also features a dual-fan cooling system with a dual-copper thermal module, fingerprint sensor, support for ASUS pen and Harman Kardon-certified audio.

It will arrive in the Summer for a price tag starting at US$ 799.

ASUS Designo MZ27AQ, Vivo AiO V241, Zen AiO ZN242

• The ASUS Designo M727AQ features a 27-inch 2560 x 1440 WQHD IPS display with wide 100% sRGB color gamut, ASUS SonicMaster technology, 1x DisplayPort and 2x HDMI ports.

• The ASUS Vivo Aio V241 is a 23.8-inch all-in-one PC with Full HD ‎NanoEdge multitouch display and a near-invisible physical bezel (88‎-percent screen-to-body ratio). It is powered by the latest 7th-gen Intel Core i5 processor and NVIDIA GeForce 930MX discrete graphics.

• The ASUS Zen AiO ZN242 is another high-performing all-in-one PC with a 23.8-inch multi-touch NanoEdge display (90-percent screen-to-body ratio. It packs a quad-core Intel Core i7-77000HQ, up to 32GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics, and a 512GB PCIe SSD or a hard disk drive enhanced with the Intel Optane memory.
