Asus has announced a mid-range tablet dual sim tablet dubbed the Asus Fonepad 7 Dual Sim (ME175CG). This is the third generation of the Fonepad 7, it first debuted with phone functions only and the second version came with 3G functionality and the latest model comes with Dual sim features.
The 7-Inch tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor, 1GB RAM of memory, 8GB inbuilt storage capacity (expandable up to 64GB) and weighs 328 grams. The device runs on Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Out-Of-The-Box Operating system.
Asus Fonepad Dual Sim Offers 3G connectivity as well as voice calling
The Fonepad 7 Dual dons a 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front-facing camera, 7-Inch LED Ips display, resolution of 1280×800 pixel. Apart from the 3G connectivity, other options are WiFi, EDGE, G-Sensor, E-compass, Proximity Sensor, Bluetooth 4.0. The Fonepad 7 Dual is powered by a 3950mAh, which delivers around 35 days of standby time and 28hours of talk time in 3G mode.

Asus has launched the ASUS Fonepad 7 Dual in India, the tablet comes in two colour variant – White and Gray. The device currently on sale in the market for Rs 12,999 Indian Rupees (around N35,000 and 40,000 in Nigerian Naira.)
