ASUS released the Asus Padfone S (international version of the Padfone X) to critical acclaim as the smartphone comes with a docking station which makes it double as a tablet. The company is looking set to release the Asus Padfone S Plus which was spotted about two months ago in Malaysia which is an upgraded Padfone S.
The Asus PadFone S Plus (PF500KL) keeps the same specs as the Asus Padfone S; but it comes with improved RAM – upped from 2GB to 3GB and improved storage – from 16GB to 64GB space of internal storage.
Others specs features which remains the same includes – 5-inch (1920 X 1080 pixels) Full HD display protected by Corning Gorilla glass 3, powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 801 processor, 13MP main camera, NFC, 4G LTE, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, Qi Wireless charging and 2300mAh battery.
According to an official Asus distributor in the country, Dynamics Distribution, the Asus PadFone S Plus (PF500KL) would be available in Malaysia on April 8th for RM 1099 ($302). It would still be compatible with the same accessories – – the Docking station (P93L) which costs RM 599 ($165) and Bluetooth keyboard which costs RM 349 ($96); which would be purchased separately.
