Asus is expected to release a new smartphone soon under the Pegasus brand soon. The Asus Pegasus (ASUS_X005) has been certified on Chinese Telecommunications Agency – TENAA and as is the norm, the listing reveals the key specs and images of the device from four perspective.
The Asus Pegasus X005 has the same 5.5-inch display as the Asus Pegasus 2 Plus, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
In the camera segment, the phablet uses a 8-megapixels camera with LED flash (interpolated to take 13-megapixels photos) and a front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options onboard includes – 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 4G TD-LTE.
The Asus Pegasus X005 measures 155 x 76.4 x 9 mm in dimensions, weighs 176.7 grams in size and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company expected to sprinkle the ZEN UI ontop. The battery capacity as expected, is not listed, but the device will arrive in Blue, Gold and White colour options.
