Asus has a new series of 2-in-1 (hybrid) tablet which will be available on sale in the nearest future. One of such is the ASUS Transformer Book T302, a hybrid tablet with Intel Skylake CPU which should go on sale in July. The product has several variations presumably for markets in different regions – T302CA, T302C, T302 Chi and T32C versions.
Expected to be the upgraded version of the Transformer Book T300 Chi, the ASUS Transformer Book T302 sports a 12.5-inch display with either Full HD or Quad HD screen resolution, measures 8.05 mm thick and weighs 750 grams. It has a removable full size keyboard and runs Windows 10 OS.
On the inside, it relies on an Intel Skylake processor (Core M3 or Core M7), 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage models. The tablet is equipped with Dual USB Type-C ports, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and a microSD card slot when additional storage space is required.
The ASUS Transformer Book T302 Hybrid is backed by a 38Whr battery which promises up to 8 hours of usage time. The full sized keyboard with magnetic hinge and large touchpad complements with typical USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports whilst also extending battery life up to 15 hours. There is also a Stylus Pen accessory in the mix.
