Along with the new Zenfone 3 series smartphones, Zenbook 3 laptop, Zenbo Robot and a couple of other new Zen products; ASUS announced the ASUS Transformer Mini – a new 2-in-1 detachable PC with a smart hinge kickstand design. It will be available in Q3 this summer but details of how much it will cost is not revealed yet.
The 8.2 mm thin ASUS Transformer Mini sports a 10.1-inch display with the TruVivid display technology by ASUS and up to 11 hours of battery life. It is marketed as the world’s lightest 2-in-1 PC weighing 790 grams in size when the keyboard is bundled but weighs 530 grams when used as a tablet only.
It is equipped with a built-in instant ID fingerprint reader, USB Port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 1 year free unlimited ASUS WebStorage. The new 2-in-1 which is packed in an aluminium body offers full Windows 10 OS experience with Cortana, Office Mobile, and Windows Hello onboard.
The ASUS Transformer Mini also packs an integrated kickstand boasting up to 170-degree angle for attaining different viewing angles thanks to its patented stepless Smart Hinge design. It is available in a myriad of tablet and keyboard colour options including Quartz Gray Tablet and Keyboard and a Pearl White tablet with Amber, Mint Green, or Icicle Gold keyboard.
