A new Asus device has been certified on TENAA; the device is expected to join the Asus Zenfone series of devices – maybe the Asus Zenfone 2 or a smaller variant in the Asus Zenfone 2 family.
The Taiwanese company has a disorganised pattern in which it’s devices are arranged – the Asus Zenfone 2 alone has four models with different specs.
The new device from Asus is tipped to be the Asus Zenfone 3 and has the Model number – Z00EDB. Since the final name is unknown for now we will just call it the Asus Z00EDB. It sports a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and uses a metal body build.
Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the rear is 8MP camera with Dual Tone LED flash and laser autofocus. The front camera is a 5MP snapper for selfies. The Asus Z00EBD measures 143.7 X 71.5 X 10.7 mm in dimensions, weighs 145 grams and runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS.
It supports 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity options and supports Dual SIM functionality. It would be available in Black, Blue, Gold, Purple, Red, Silver and White Colour. Asus is expected to make the device official soon.
