Most people should know by now, thinking of counting how many Asus Zenfone 2 variants on offer, is almost like almost preparing to count the number of rice grains in a bag? Well, while that might exaggerated, there are numerous Zenfone 2 variants and the company has just added another inform of the Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition.
This newly refreshed Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition comes with the 64-bit Intel Atom Z3590 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz compared to the Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor on the previous model. The rest of the specs are pretty much the same.
The device sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with 72-percent screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It packs 4GB of RAM, 256GB built-in storage space, a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB) and runs Android Lollipop OS with Zen UI ontop.
In the camera aspect, there is a rear facing 13MP pixelmaster camera with f/2.0 aperture and a front facing 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide angle lens. The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition draws energy from a non-removable 3000mAh battery with fast charging.
There is no word on pricing yet but it will be available in Silver Polygon (with 3D pattern on the back) and Carbon Night (with Carbon fiber finish) colours.
