ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser debuts with 4GB RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS

‎ASUS has announced new variants of its 2016 flagship – the Zenfone 3 in Vietnam. The ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser is the second generation Zenfone Laser smartphone which has a couple of variants on its own. It is on sale in the market  for a price tag of 5,990,000 Vietnamese Dong (US$ 269).

Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS from the onset with Zen UI, the ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution, measures 7.9 mm thick and is housed in an all metal body build with 2.5D Arc Glass on top.

Much of the focus, is on the 2nd-Gen Laser Auto Focus on the main camera which focuses in 0.03 second. The main camera is a 13MP PixelMaster 3.0 camera with SONY IMX214 sensor. It features Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) Blur-free video recording and color correction sensor.

The ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser packs 4GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage space and a rear placed Fingerprint Sensor with 0.2 second super-fast unlock time. The rest of the specifications including the choice of processor is not known and ASUS has also not revealed availability outside the vietnamese market.
