The Asus Zenfone C is the latest device in the Zenfone series of smartphones; the device in question is said to be a variant of the Asus Zenfone 4 A450CG and comes with the model number ZC451CG. The device is expected to enter the Malaysian markets for RMB 349 ($96) and looks more likely to be available only in that market.
The Asus Zenfone C features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display, powered by a 1.2Ghz Intel Atom Z2520 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The device uses a front facing 0.3MP (VGA) camera and a rear facing 5MP camera.
The Asus Zenfone C runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with ASUS ZenUI; supports 3G/WCDMA, 2G/EDGE, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, A-GPS with GLONASS, micro USB and 3.5mm Audio Jack. It weighs 149 grams, measures 136.5 x 67 x 10.9mm in dimensions and is backed by a removable 2160mAh battery. Black, Red and White are the available colour options.
