Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 debuts with 1GB RAM and Android 5.1 in India

ASUS has announced a smaller screen variant of the Asus Zenfone Go in India. The Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 as it is known, is a budget-based device which is available for Rs 5299 (US$ 80) exclusively via Flipkart in Black colour option only.

The ASUS ZenFone Go 4.5 sports a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA LCD display, powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space. It has Dual Micro SIM slots and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Zen UI 2.0.

For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 64GB; and for photography, there is a front facing 0.3-megapixels (VGA) and rear facing 5-megapixels AutoFocus camera with LED flash. Connectivity options available includes – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3G HSPA+. 

It measures 135 x 67 x 10.1 mm in dimensions, weighs 133.5 grams and is backed by a 1600mAh battery. 
 
The Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 ZC451TG has seen a reduction in the screen size plus resolution from 5-inch HD to 4.5-inch FWVGA and the RAM has been reduced from 2GB to 1GB compared to the Asus Zenfone Go 5.0 ZC500TG

Other differences comes in the aspects of camera combination and battery capacity, both models, however, do not support 4G LTE networks.
