ASUS Zenfone Live L1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) Smartphone

ASUS has unveiled its first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in Indonesia. The ASUS Zenfone Live L1 (ZA550KL) will be available in three memory configurations: 1/2GB RAM with 16GB built-in storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB built-in storage. Both storage options are expandable up to 256GB via microSD.

The ASUS Zenfone Live L1 sports a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 400 nits brightness and 82% screen-to-body ratio. Internally, it packs the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and only the basic model (1GB RAM) boots Android Oreo (Go Edition). Other options (2/3GB RAM) come pre-loaded with Android Oreo OS Zen UI 5.

Photography is handled by a single rear facing 13MP (f/2.0) camera with PDAF and LED flash. While the smartphone does not feature a fingerprint sensor, it supports 4G VoLTE connectivity and Face unlock via the front placed 5MP (f/2.4) selfie camera. Power is supplied by a long lasting 3,000mAh battery.

The ASUS Zenfone Live L1 will arrive in Midnight Black, Space Blue, Shimmer Gold and Rose Pink colours. The 2GB RAM model is priced at IDR 1,399,000 (USD 99) but will be available for a further discount price of IDR 1,299,000 (USD 92) during a flash sale event scheduled on May 21st. The 3GB RAM version costs IDR 1,699,000 (USD 120). No word on pricing on the Android Go Edition.
