ASUS has listed up a new Zenfone series smartphone focused on both live streaming and photography on its official website. Dubbed the ASUS Zenfone Live (ZB501KL), the new device was last week tipped to be the Zenfone 3 Go. The highlight is its live streaming feature through the BeautyLive app.
The ASUS Zenfone Live has a rear facing 13MP AF camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size, LED flash and 82-degree field of view alongside a front 5MP camera with soft light LED selfie flash. The Beautification app lets the user edit various facial features such as the screen colour, skin flaws and more.
On the inside, the device packs a Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, either 16GB or 32GB built-in storage space and boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with ZenUI 3.0 on top. It sports a metal body build, 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Bluelight filter for eye care and backed by a 2560mAh battery, expected to deliver up to 471 hrs standby time.
For additional storage space, the microSD card slot supports up to 128GB cards and 100GB of free Google Drive storage is available for a two-year duration. Connectivity options on the ASUS Zenfone Live includes – 4G LTE (Cat. 4), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS. It also pack a 5-magnet speaker and two built-in microphones.
