Asus has quietly added the Asus ZenPad C 7.0 to the Zenpad Series of tablet that was announced at the Compute 2015 in Taipei. The tablet has been spotted on an official teaser video with much of the focus on ‘all round entertainment’ which it would provide.
The Asus ZenPad C 7.0 features a 7-incher with a stunning IPS display but the resolution is not listed but it should be 1024 x 600 pixels resolution resulting in pixel density of 169ppi. The body build looks to be a mixture of plastic and embossed leather pattern.
It has a 178° wide viewing angle and the company’s Visualmaster tech also adds some spices to the display. To boost light sensitivity up to around 400%, there is a Low-Light mode feature. Parents can use parental control features to limit usage of the tablet by kids.
Meanwhile there is no idea of the processor, RAM and internal storage; but the tablet would be available in two variants (Z170C and Z170MG) – one with a 5MP rear camera and another with a rear 2MP camera. Both variants have a front facing 0.3MP (VGA) camera for video chats.
The Asus ZenPad C 7.0 weighs around 265 grams, measures 8.4mm thin, Dual SIM support with Dual Standby, 3G connectivity and also voice calling support. The tablet is expected to follow other newly announced ZenPad Series to run Android Lollipop OS. Battery life is tipped around 8 hours.
