The ASUS ZenPad Z8 for Verizon Wireless is now official. The 8-inch tablet surfaced last month via a leak by tipster – Evan Blass (@evanblass); it is the first Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered ASUS tablet available in the US via the carrier. It is available for pre-order and will hit the stores by June.

Running Android Marshmallow, the ASUS ZenPad Z8 supports the network’s 4G LTE network and is also ready for the XLTE service which doubles the network’s 4G LTE Bandwidth. It uses the USB Type-C port for charging and can be purchased outright for a price tag of US$ 250.
It can also be purchased via a payment plan divided over two years (24 months). There is an optional US$ 35-priced folio case accessory which not only protects the tablet, but also acts as an adjustable stand for viewing in four different mode and typing. It also activates the sleep/wake function too.
