We have seen so many variant of the Asus Zenfone 2 and it seems we haven’t seen enough as a yet-to-be announced Asus Zenfone variant with the model name – ASUS_Z00TDA, has been certified on TENAA in China.
As expected, the listing on TENAA shows the image of the device as well as some of it key specs. The ASUS_Z00TDA features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.
The above chipset possible from Mediatek or Intel is paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. On the rear, there is a 13MP camera with LED flash and the front camera is a 5MP snapper for selfies.
Measuring 152.5 × 77.2 × 10.8 mm in dimensions and weighing 170 grams, the ASUS_Z00TDA runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and some of the connectivity options includes – GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G/4G LTE and USB.
There is no word on the battery capacity of the ASUS_Z00TDA but whatever is under that hood must be around 2500mAh+ with that huge amount of weight. The final name for the device is unknown but it is an obvious Asus Zenfone device and would be available in Gold and Silver colour options.
